Our Mission

Trinity Preparatory School’s mission is to develop a love of learning, critical thinking, and rhetorical skills among a diverse student body in the context of offering a pleasantly rigorous and affordable K-12 classical education in South Jersey. In community with parents, we seek to cultivate the moral formation of our students’ hearts and minds in the historic Christian tradition in order that they may live out the virtues of goodness, beauty, and truth in service to God and others, impacting the world around them.

Our Vision

Trinity Preparatory School’s vision is to glorify God in Christian community and education by seeking to build students into living cathedrals for the worship of Him in every area of our lives (1 Pe. 2:5).

Our Statement of Faith

Since its beginning in 2015, Trinity has provided a rich and rigorous K-12 curriculum within the framework of the historic Christian faith. Its classical and Christian education blends the enduring elements of classical learning with the eternal message of Scripture. Parents must indicate their agreement with this statement when completing the application form.

  • The Scriptures – We believe the Bible is the infallible, inerrant written Word of God. It is the supreme and final authority for all matters of Christian life and belief.

  • God is Triune – We believe there is one true and living God, eternally existent in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. Each is equal in every divine perfection and execute distinct but harmonious offices in all the work of the Godhead.

  • Man – We believe man was created by God, both male and female, in His own image. Adam’s sin incurred physical and spiritual death, resulting in all mankind being born in rebellion against God. As a result, all people are separated from God by their sin and are lost without hope apart from salvation in Christ.

  • The Gospel – We believe the gospel is the good news of God’s saving actions toward sinners through Jesus Christ.  Jesus, the eternal son of God, is fully divine and human in one person. We believe in His virgin birth, in His sinless life, in His miracles, in His vicarious and atoning death for sinners, in His bodily resurrection, in His ascension, and in His personal return in power and glory.

  • Salvation – We believe salvation is a free gift of God’s grace through faith in Christ alone. Anyone who turns from their sin and trusts in Jesus Christ and His death on their behalf receives forgiveness of sins and the gift of eternal life. As a result, a believer’s life and faith is marked by good works out of love and gratitude to God.

  • Sanctification – We believe in the present ministry of the Holy Spirit, by whose indwelling the Christian is enabled to live a godly life. The Holy Spirit empowers believers for Christian witness and service and gives gifts for the building up of the body of Christ. His work is carried on in our hearts through such appointed means as the study of Scripture, prayer, worship, and fellowship with other believers.

  • The Church – We believe the universal church, composed of genuine followers of Christ, exists to worship, serve, and glorify God. All believers are to be committed members of a local church where they receive pastoral care. We believe in the spiritual unity of all believers in our Lord Jesus Christ.

  • The Consummation – We believe Jesus Christ will return to the earth, personally and visibly, to establish His kingdom in the new heavens and the new earth. We believe in the resurrection of both the saved and the lost: the former are raised to eternal life and the latter to eternal separation away from the presence of God.

Our Family Life Values

We believe the Bible teaches the following:

Parents have the responsibility to develop and maintain a godly atmosphere in the home by exercising control over inappropriate influences and by providing an effective Christian role model to children. (Joshua 24:14-15, Ephesians 5:1-21, 6:4, Colossians 3:1-25)

Parents have the responsibility to teach biblical principles and truths to their children and make relevant applications of God’s Word to the family’s circumstances. (Deuteronomy 6:4-9, Ephesians 6:4)

Parents have the responsibility to demonstrate faith to their children through personal devotion to the Lord Jesus Christ and through faithful involvement in a local church. (Acts 2: 46-47, Hebrews 10:25)

Parents have the responsibility to demonstrate a biblical example of marriage and fidelity as noted in the Marriage, Gender and Sexuality statement.

Our Statement on Marriage, Gender & Sexuality

We believe the Bible teaches the following:

God wonderfully and immutably creates each person as a male or female (Psalm 139:13-16). These two distinct, complementary genders together reflect the image and nature of God (Genesis 1:26-27). Rejection of one’s biological sex is a rejection of God’s design of the image of God within that person.

Marriage is ordained by God as a covenantal union between one genetic male and one genetic female, established at creation and affirmed by the Lord Jesus and his apostles (Genesis 1:26-28, 2:15-25, Matthew 19:4-6, Colossians 3:18-22, Hebrews 13:4).

Marriage is intended to reflect the union between Christ and the Church. Both men and women are made in the image of God and therefore have equal dignity and worth. It is also true that a husband and a wife have been given different roles within the marriage relationship in order to fulfill God’s design. A husband is to love his wife as Christ loved the Church, while a wife is to submit herself to the loving leadership of her husband just as the church willingly submits to the headship of Christ (Ephesians 5:22-23, 1 Corinthians 11:3-12).

Sexual acts outside of the bounds of marriage, including adultery, homosexuality, polygamy, and any other sexually immoral practice, are prohibited by God and unprofitable for man. (1 Corinthians 6:9-11, 1 Thessalonians 4:1-8, Hebrews 13:4)
